Meet Dr. Vigue
Dr. Sara Vigue was born and raised in Florida and knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She attended Berry College in Rome, Georgia for her undergraduate studies and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She could be found playing collegiate softball or milking cows at the school dairy. Dr. Vigue then earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University (War Eagle!).
After veterinary school, Dr. Vigue worked at a mixed animal practice in rural Kentucky where she had the opportunity to work on a variety of species. She then moved to Southern California with her husband in 2019 and has been working in small animal practice since then. Dr. Vigue’s veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Vigue enjoys hiking, traveling, backpacking and spending time with friends and family. She looks forward to taking care of your four-legged family!
Meet Dr. Jonah
Dr. Jonah Tarashansky is a dedicated veterinarian who combines a passion for high-quality, practical medicine with a compassionate, client-focused approach. As a Fear Free Certified professional, his primary goal is to ensure the comfort and well-being of every animal he treats.
Dr. Jonah’s areas of interest are extensive and include preventative medicine, dermatology, internal medicine, surgery, and advanced imaging such as ultrasound. He believes in fostering long-term relationships with his patients and their families, creating a foundation of trust for a lifetime of care.
A Southern California native, Dr. Jonah earned his B.S. in Aquatic Biology from UC Santa Barbara and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
When he’s not caring for animals, you might find Dr. Jonah playing jazz saxophone or hiking the trails with his McNab Collie, Koda, and Husky mix, Dante. A man of many talents, he is a classically trained pianist, a Russian speaker proud of his Ukrainian heritage, and also happens to have an identical twin brother who is a bioengineering computer scientist!
